Fireworks in Club Penguin!

Hello Penguins.

Have you visited Club Penguin today? Well if you did, you would realize that Club Penguin has fireworks at the Iceberg and at the Ski Hill! There are many holidays going on all over the world in July and Club Penguin wanted to show their respect to them. Let’s see all the holidays that are  coming up:

  • Canada Day–July 1, 2009–Canada–to celebrate the union of the four provinces of Canada and the formation of the country by the enactment of British North America Act of 1867.
  • Independence Day–July 4, 2009–USA–to celebrate America’s independence. The day on July 4, 1776 in which The Declaration of Independence was signed and official.
  • Tisha B’Av–July 30, 2009–Israel–to remember the saddest day in the Jewish holidays calendar. The Jewish people believe many sad events happened to the Jewish ancestors on this day. 😦 Don’t worry there are fireworks to cheer you up. 🙂
  • Ascension of the Prophet–Islam–July 20, 2009–to celebrate the night when the prophet Muhammad was peacefully sent to heaven.
  • Bastille Day–July 14, 2009–France–to commemorate the beginning of the French Revolution in the 18th century.
  • Dharma Day–July 7, 2009–Buddhists celebrate the day of the Buddhist religion being established.
  • Ashadh Day–July 7, 2009–Hindus celebrate the lunar month of Ashadh (July) the day of the full moon.
